Students of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic have been advised to get engage more on continuous assessment to help them on their performance.
In a meeting with the HOD of electrical electronic engineering Malam Aliyu Tukur says that it is not necessarily only in HUK but also it should be adopted in all institutions all over the world to assess the performance of their students if or not well understood. He added that the C A allows the lecturers to know the level and capacities of every students also to monitor their activities and allow the students to read ahead of examination.
In an interview with a student of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic from the department of welding and fabricating Ali Abdullahi has said that continuous assessment is something very important because it will affect his or her GP, allowing the students to have greater points in boosting their grades .He added that students who do not participate in this CA are seen lacking behind and at the end of the day they get into different issues such as carrying over some of the courses.
