Students of Hassan Usman katsina polytechnic are facing health challenges(malaria and typhoid)
In an interview with one of the nurse in the school clinic,Ibrahim Sarki Idris said that there is high number of sicknesses in the school campus, especially this period students are suffering from malaria and typhoid.
According to him, there are adequate medical facilities that is use to treat students illness in the campus,like the school ambulance that takes students to hospital outside the school when the condition is critical.
He added that,the school clinic treats any kind of sickness,but if the symptoms continues they refer the patient to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
The nurse Ibrahim Sarki adviced all the students to always keep their environment clean, wash the cooking utensils before using them,and always use mosquito net because mosquitoes causes malaria and dirty water causes typhoid.
