In the modern world today, ICT has had a significant impact on society. It has improved communication, increased access to information and transformed various industries. In the field of journalism, ICT also has had a profound impact and has revolutionized the way journalists gather, produce and distribute news. With the internet and social media, journalists can reach a wider audience and share news in real-time. Additionally, ICT over the years has become a blessing to humanity, prior to the coming of ICT in the banking system, withdrawal of money was quite difficult as people had to go to the bank teller and then the cashier will have to go through the ledger and search manually for the customers name to see the amount of money that they have in the bank before they will be given to the customer and then cancel the previous balance and rewrite the new balance the customer has. Through this, human error can occur and disasters like fire could destroy those documents and all informations would be lost. But with the advent of ICT in the banking system, people do not even need to go to the bank to either withdraw money, transfer or make deposits, all this can be done using USSD to make transactions to other banks and also making transfers using the mobile banking app to various part of the world .
