About the field: Environment refers to the surrounding or condition in which a person, animal or plant lives and operate.

The circumstances objects or condition by which one is surrounded. It is the complex or physical chemical and biotic factor such ai climate, soil and living things that act upon and organism or an ecological community and ultimately determine its form and survival.

Environment is everything that is around us which can be living or nonliving things, it include physical, chemical, and other natural forces.

COMPONENTS OF ENVIRONMENT

1-Biotic Component: All the living organism in our environment are said to be biotic components example plants and animals.

2-Abiotic Components: All living organisms in the environment form the abiotic components example land and mountain.

3-Hydrosphere: basically consist of all water bodies in the surface of the plant earth, this include the rivers, seas and lakes.

4-Biosphere: the biosphere of the earth includes living organisms presents in our environment, all plants and animals are part of our biosphere.

5-Ecosystem: an ecosystem is an interaction between all the living beings with their physical and chemical environment i.e their surroundings, generally they are dependent upon each other.

KINDS OF ENVIRONMENT

1- Natural Environment: are environment where human beings modify their surroundings as per their own requirements.

2-Human Environment: environment where human beings live with the available resources.

3-Man Made Environment: it is an environment that has been created by humans to satisfy their requirements.

IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENT

Environmental Impacts are changes in the natural or built environment resulting directly from an activity, that can have adverse effect on the air,land,water and wildlife or the inhabitants of the ecosystem. In todays global society many environmental issues can diminish the quality of life on earth including over population of waste, the destruction of natural habitats and the pollution of our air,water and other resources.

CHALLENGES FACING ENVIRONMENT

1-pollution: are the primary causes that affects our environment, they are inter linked and influence each other, therefore we need to tackle all of them together.

2- Waste Disposal: the over consumption of resources and the creation of plastic create and global waste Disposal crises. waste Disposal are all refuse and sewage that we dump in the environment inappropriate.

3-Deforestation: regular cutting of trees, is a great challenges to the environment when trees are always cut it can lead to soil erosion in the society.

4-Climate change: is another environmental problem that has surfaced in the last few decades, it occur due to the rise in global warming due to increased atmosphereric temperature.

5-Soil Degradation: globally food security depends on the factor of whether or not soil are in good condition to produce crops. Soils get damage due to reasons such as erosion, overgrazing, over exposure to pollutants, monoculture planting, soil comoaction, land use conversion and many more.

CONCLUSION

To maintain a healthy and balanced Ecosystem, humans need to be responsible and cordial with the environment, we depend on the food chain or the food we that is created by the components of the environment. So taking care of our surroundings is the utmost priority for the existence of life on this planet.
