On Tuesday the 18th of January 2022, there was a fire outbreak in room three(3) ground floor of Block B Boys Hostel in Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Katsina State.
The fire broke out within the hours of the morning while the occupants of the room were already in class receiving lectures.
According to eye witnesses, all the properties of the occupants of the room were lost in the fire. The fire was successfully put out before it could spread to other rooms within the Block.
Conclusions are yet to be made about the cause of the fire as investigations are still ongoing.
