Students of Hassan Usman katsina polytechnic recently complained on the high price of food stuffs in the campus.
In an interview with one of the students of Hassan Usman katsina polytechnic miss Annah Joel says they have been trying to cope with the new prices of food items in the school campus. According to her, she deviced some means of managing money, she will remove somethings that are not if necessity to her such as biscuits, chocolate, sweet in order to buy food stuffs such as rice, beans, yam to feed on and be satisfied. She also complained of having headache when ever she didn’t eat before going for lectures which will not allow her concentrate on the class.
According to miss Annah Joel said, this lack of food items and not eating well reduce the performance of students and also not allowing the students participate well in class activities.
In addition, the students appeal to the school management and the S.U.G to find ways of providing food stuffs at subsidized price.
