It is the responsibility of security personnel to safeguard lives and properties of the citizen.
Being an institution of higher learning, is not expected in providing security for both students and staff.
The chief security of Hassan Usman Katsina polytechnic stated that both students and staff should help the security personnel in the school premises.
The chief security Haruna saidu tsauri,said that,”security means to save life lives and property,as a student or a staff you are suppose to safeguard your vehicle”.
According to him,”most of the students have a motorcycle, and some also have a vehicle, as a student who have a motorcycle, living in the school hostel should call the attention of the school security where they want to be keeping there vehicle, and the security personnel can suggest where they can keep their vehicle for proper care of the vehicle.
He therefore advice them to be security concious and lock there vehicle properly.
