College of Liberal Studies of Hassan Usman Katsina polytechnic has presented an Academic award to the best graduating students of 2020/2021 academic session as well as the best performance award to HND I and ND I students of 2020/2021 academic session.
In a remark, the college Director Malam Yahaya Danladi said the award is given to the students to encourage the students on their academic performance and also encourage academic competition among the students of the college in particular and by extension other colleges of the institution.
in their separate remarks, the chairman of the occasion Chief Justice of Katsina State Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar joins the college Director of Environmental Studies Malam Ali Barmo in awarding cash prizes to the awardees.
while presenting a paper titled Exam conduct in Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic Engineer Sada Iliya from the Engineering Department advises the newly admitted students to focus on what brought them to the institution and also adhere to the conduct of the school rules such as dressing well and shun exam malpractice which if these conducts are neglected can lead the school to rusticate such fellow.
He added that students should try and perform better in this coming examination so as to be rewarded in the next annual academic excellence award.
