The Joint Christian campus Fellowship (JCCF) HUK POLY Chapter,conducted a campus-wide sanitation drive today Saturday September 2, in an effort to make the school cleaner and greener. Over 50 students and faculty members volunteered to clean up the school grounds, remove litter, and beautify the campus. The JCCF is committed to ensuring a clean and safe learning environment for all students, and this drive is just one of the many initiatives they have planned for the school year.”

According to the JCCF president,Gabriel isah said “The sanitation drive was just the beginning of their efforts to make a positive impact on the school community. In the coming months, the group plans to hold workshops on environmental stewardship and recycling, as well as plant trees and native plants around the campus. They also hope to organize a community service day where students and faculty can volunteer at a local soup kitchen or animal shelter”.

He added,Words are limited to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for creating out time despite all odds to make sure the sanitation was a success.

I pray for all those who avail themselves for the sanitation exercise the Lord will bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ.

However,the JCCF’s sanitation drive was a success, and it’s clear that the group is passionate about making a difference at the school. A Nigerian X user identified as Logik #iamlogikk on Saturday celebrated receiving the payment of N36,858,567 from the app ads revenue sharing programme introduced by owner Elon Musk.

Logik shared screenshots of payment statistics on his X page.

Captioning the post, he simply wrote, “36m… God bless Elon Musk

X launched its new payment plan in the United States of America in July and only recently extended this payment plan to verified global users with Twitter Blue subscribers.

Also, a few Nigerian content creators on the microblogging app, has begun to receive payment as well.

Bamidele who controls a whopping 102.5k followers was eligible to get N491k on the app but said he could only withdraw N245k at the time.

Police Arrest 15 Suspected Notorious Kidnappers, Fraudsters, Others In Katsina

The Katsina State Police Command has arrested at least 15 suspects for kidnapping, fraud and other crimes in the state based on credible intelligence.The suspects were paraded at the Command Headquarters, Katsina on Friday by the Police Spokesman, ASP Abubakar Sadiq.Among them were four suspected members of a notorious kidnap-for-ransom syndicate who were arrested on different dates and times in April.Also in the lineup paraded were 10 suspected notorious fraudsters that specialised in defrauding unsuspecting members of the public using counterfeit currencies.The suspects were arrested with credible information about their activities in a house situated at Bakin Kasuwa quarters, Kankia LGA.

The crisis between Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Philip Shuaibu deepened on Saturday as a new office outside the government house has been allocated to the deputy governor.

A building located at 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, close to the Government House, which is the Edo State Procurement Agency office, has been renovated with a sign reading Office of the Deputy.

The building was commissioned by the former governor, Adams Oshiomhole on December 16, 2014.

However, contacted, the Chief Press Secretary to Shaibu, Musa Ebhomiana, said the issue of relocating to any office is a rumour because the deputy governor has not been communicated to that effect.

One of the workers seen in the facility, who did not give his name, said that the job is expected to be delivered on Monday.

According to him, “I work for the company handling the renovation of this building. Our job is to deliver the project on Monday.

“I do not know how the signboard got to the entrance of the building and I don’t have an idea of what the building will be used for,” he added.

Coconut
Date fruit

Honey

Process
Wash the tiger-nut thoroughly to avoid sand or dirty particles and soak it in the water for 3hrs
Peel off the ginger,wash thoroughly.
Remove the seed of the date fruits and wash it as well.
Break the coconut, remove it from the shell and cut it into pieces, soak it for more than 1hr
After that, blend the tiger-nut, coconut, date and ginger together.
Blend out its smoothness.
Turn in a big bowl add cups of water (depending on the quantity you are making)and mixed it well.
pour in the mixture inside a light clean material and squeeze till all the milk is out from the chaff.
Use the white cloth again to filter it so there will be no particles or any form of chaff in your drink after all the process if you want you can add honey for this that like TOOOO SWEET DRINK but date contain natural sugar.
Store in the freezer.
Served when cold.

Arsenal’s Thomas Partey has been sidelined for a “couple of weeks” following an injury he got in training, a major blow for the Gunners who welcome rivals Manchester United on Sunday.

The Ghanaian midfielder was expected to be in the Black Stars squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central Africa Republic on Thursday.

But in an update, Ghana’s team doctor Prince Pambo said the Gunners’ ace won’t make it for the final Group E game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“He sustained a groin injury during training on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He is currently unavailable as Club Doctors predict he’s likely to be out for a couple of weeks,” the Ghana FA said on Saturday.

The development is a major blow to Arsenal who welcome the Red Devils to the Emirates Stadium in a Premier League showdown on Sunday afternoon.

Partey, a key member of Mikel Arteta’s side, has featured in all three league games this term for last season’s runners-up.

Already, the Gunners are five points off champions and table toppers Manchester City and are expected to get their back to winning ways against their perennial rivals.
