A good number of student of Hassan Usman kastina polytechnic have failed to resume on the said date of 13th December ,2021 for the commencement of the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic session.
This, according to some students was as a result of the closure of the student hostel by the management of the school and the yuletide season.
The school management through the deputy registrar mallam Mansur Y.El-ladan stated that the closure was due to some major repairs and restoration of electricity to the student hostel, which were caused by the vandalization of major electric cables in the hostel by some unknown persons.
In spite of the opening of the hostel and the end of the yuletide season; many student are yet to resume.this have become a cause to worry about as this is the 5th week of resumption and lectures have commenced fully in the school. The school examinations are schedule to begin on the 7th March, 2022.student are therefore advised to resume immediately continue with their academic activities for their own benefit.
