MALSA HUKPOLY CHAPTER INAUGURATES ITS NEWLY ELECTED EXCOS

The Malumfashi Students Association (MALSA) has inaugurated its newly elected leaders of different caliber of positions on the 10th of April, 2024.

It could be recalled that MALSA had recently conducted the election of its members in preparation for the transition of power to the incoming leaders of the Association as the tenure of the incumbent leaders terminates by the end of the 2022/2023 academic session.

The event has witnessed the attendance of different important figures, ranging from the Rector Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, District Head of Malumfashi who was ably represented by the Gora Village’s Head, Dr. Rugoji, Malam Bello Muhammad, both the incoming and outgoing members of the Association and friends of the Association members alike.

Speaking on the occasion, the Rector has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Association members for both the formation of the Association and the unwavering efforts they make towards the realization of the objectives of the Association.

The Rector also donated ten thousand naira (10,000) to two female students for dressing decently at the event, adding that he was highly impressed with the way they dressed, and advising others to be dressing decently so that they can serve as the good ambassadors of Malumfashi Local Government wherever they find themselves.

Also speaking, the District Head of Malumfashi Local Government, who was ably represented by the Gora’s Head, extended the greetings and compliment of the Malumfashi Local Government’s District Head over the efforts of the Association members in the unification of Malumfashi Local Government’s indegenes.

Furthermore, he admonished anybody having a membership in the Association to be very concerned about their primary assignment and also work diligently for the sustainability of the Association.

It should be noted that prior to the delivery of speeches by the aforementioned dignitaries at the event, there was the presentation of certificates of return to the newly elected members, and awards of honour to the outgoing members respectively.
