Gevernor Aminu Bello Masari of katsina state under his Leadership adopt the policy of containment order across the 13 Local Government areas where security challenges invaded ,
Bello masari ,gave this Directives when innaguarating katsina state Commitee for tackling insecurity, which include security personel, Traditional Rulers and stake Holders.
Masari, revealed the instructions that contains closure of some Roads,ban for Transportation of cattle truks from one state to another, closure of fuel station, only two designate station are allowed to sale petrol, cut of lines /sim card service and ban of movement from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am across the frontline areas.
The policy behined closure of Roads is to sustained safety for road user, because bandits are used to stay on road side with the means of kidnapping people.
Noted that, ban for petrol sales in diffferences station also play an important role because most of banditry opertions where used motorcycles that is using fuel. due to scarcity and lack of fuel the opertions and Attacts have reduced in these areas.
Ban for transportation of cattle truks from one place to another is to ensure reduction of the source of incomes that bandit generated, in one way or the other.
Disconnection of line/sim card network and sevices also make a very meaningful contributions for tackling insecurity across 13 local Government areas.
