My name is Innocent Lilian Chidera from imo state base in kano.
My first day at Huk poly is a day i will never forget because of the stress and all that.Firstly,i was directed to the ICT Block,i went there and saw a long queue of student waiting for their turn. I had to go look for another cafe to do my registration but the network was bad and i had to wait. I stayed for almost 2 hours and finally my name was called.Stood up went to the guy, gave him my credentials ,he cross checked it and gave me back with some other form that requires the academic secretary and departmental HOD signature. But before i could think of the signing, i had to look for something to eat because i was so hungry and tired(got this tasteless expensive food).
I went to the academic secretary to sign then to my Hod for the remaining signature.After that,i had to look for my department so it would be easy for me to resume lectures.So on my way to the gate heading home, some security guards called me, i went there, he was like why would you dress like this,don’t i know that am not dressed decently? I explained to him that am new to the school and he told me everything i needed to know about the school dressing code. I thanked him and left.
My first day at Huk wasn’t fun at all because wasn’t prepared for the stress that day
