My names are Olasunkanmi Temitope Elizabeth ,my first day at Hassan usman kastina polytechnic had a great meaning to me . It was the second phase of my education, when I got into the institution I was impressed by the level of security consciousness in the school , also I fully persuaded that the kastina state polytechnic is zero tolerance , when I saw the billboard containing the warning and mode of dressing also the school logo “ success through hard labour “ indeed Hassan usman kastina polytechnic is a center for excellent study.
It was actually a day full of new experience , that day I had so many things on mind from where to locate the cafe , central admin , the hostel and my department . I was glad to see that the polytechnic presented a new sight , it was quite different from what I was told about , I also had some very strange experience on the first day at HUK poly , I was baffled to see that the department was so far from each other.
On getting to the cafe there was a lot of queue , I waited and waited finally it’s got to my turn I did my registration and head straight to the central admin to finish the rest . Gosh I was so stressful , hungry and tired I had to go check my department , on getting there was a lecturer in the class I had to join the class , hmm I never took a class like that before and it was totally different system from my other school , I noted down the time table of my class, I felt a new rhythm of life and returned home with a mixed sense of duty and liberty.
