NGO: ICT knowledge makes learning easier.

A Non profit  Organisation, (NGO) has said digital literacy makes learning easier for pupils.

A volunteer, at Teach for Nigeria, Olanrewaju Talabi, in an interview with The PUNCH, said digital literacy will help learners to be relevant in digital world.

Mr. Olarewaju spoke after the commissioning of a computer room he and some other volunteers including, Shammah Kuave, Samuel Keke,  Sunday Aboyeji, a philanthropist with support from Teach For Nigeria provided for Methodist Primary School 1, Imeko, Ogun State.

He disclosed that the project which cost N3m  had 20 all-in-one desktop computers, ox standing fan, POP ceiling,  5000VA stabilisers, dell projector, plastic chairs, tables, extension sockets, whiteboard among other.

He further said his passion for impacting knowledge and positive values into the younger generation were my driving force in taking up a volunteer position.

“One of the benefits worth mentioning is that digital literacy makes it possible for pupils to be relevant in this digital world. It also eases the learning process for them.

He advised the youths to always contribute to Nigeria’s development no matter how little.
