The unpredictable nature of prices of commodities has reached its acme, leading to the effusive complaints by the students of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic (HUKPOLY).
According to the students, life is becoming increasingly difficult. The school shop owners are unsympathetic, pricing food items at unreasonably hight rates, and exploiting the inconvenience students face shopping elsewhere.
In an interview with the shop owners on Monday, February 19th, 2024, they also explained that the inflation issue is a national phenomenon, cutting across every nook and corner of the country.
They also added that the ultimate objective of any businessman is to make profit, as opposed to failure.
