The office of the student affairs Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic impose new law on waste disposal through the window and surroundings of the hostel.
This came to light as a result of too many throwing of dirty water from windows mostly by those students residing in the third floor of the hostel, lettering of the toilet and environment of the Justice Binta Nyako hostel.
In an interview with one of the hostel methron Mrs Hadiza said”the students are fond of washing clothes inside their rooms and throwing the water through the window which cause quarrel between the students, most of the students will mess up the toilet and the hostel environment making the surroundings smelly. And any student caught in this act will face an appropriate disciplinary action”.
The law is impose in order to help keep a healthy and neat environment.
