Student reactions on the 8 months-Old ASUU Strike Suspension.

The academic staff Union of University (Asuu)has suspended the eight-months-old strike conditionally a member of the Union’s National Executive Committee disclosed this to channel TV early Friday.

In an interview with some students of University,Tamuno Emmanuel Braide says he is not happy about the early suspension because things have not being going well and that school resuming now is like another burden has been added for him, but non the less,he is grateful “it happens anyway, that this will give him an opportunity to finish his education and that he is eager to finish”.

He also said,he has been out of school for about eight months now, it will take time to readjust well again but it will not affect his academic performance and that he will be in school and still be doing what he enjoyed doing personally and still be attentive with school activities.

Also in an interview with a lady who applied for admission to University of Jos who is aspiring to study pharmacy said, based on her excitement, she feels indifferent about the suspension of the strike and that the strike actually affected both positively and negatively.

However, she said, she is happy it happens the way it happened because during the strike she gained some experiences and that whether the suspension happens now or later,it wouldn’t matter to her.
