How did valentine came into existence .
Valentine’s Day, otherwise known as lovers day has come a long way. According to history.com the Catholic Church recognize at least three different saint named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred. One legend contends that valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome.
Nigerians are not left out in the celebration of Valentine’s Day, the day is observed annually on the 14th February and it brings together people to show love and affection to their lovers by exchange of gift.
The day is painted red, as all celebrating lovers day will be putting on red which represents the color of love.
Miss Joy Daniel expresses in an interview that valentine is an avenue for lovers to strengthen the bond of their love life, she further explained that valentine is not only for couples to show love but for everyone to display their feelings for one another.
