The security operatives of Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic has taken a drastic measure in punishing the girls in the hostel for excreting on the floor in the toilet .
The matron aunty Hadiza, has given the order to lock up any toilet on each corridor for a week if found guilty of the offense.
Aunty Hadiza said in an interview that the punishment will serve as a lesson to all, not to try the disgusting act. Also if any student is caught in the act, the punishment will be severe.
According to hostel residents, the majority are suffering for the sin of few.
“We cannot complain because the law is deliberately violated by some of us” this statement was made in an interview with one of the girls in the hostel.
They further explain their discomfort of the punishment, as some of them have to go to another corridor before excreting.
